Thoresby Hall is a country house hotel in Worksop, the United Kingdom.[1] It opened in 1871. It stands about 10.0 km from the centre of Worksop.[3]

Overview

Thoresby Hall is a 19th-century country house and park in Budby, Nottinghamshire, some 2 miles (4 km) north of Ollerton. It is one of four neighbouring country houses and estates in the Dukeries in north Nottinghamshire all occupied by dukes at one time during their history. The hall is constructed of rock-faced ashlar with ashlar dressings.

History and building

The country house hotel opened in 1871. It was designed by Anthony Salvin. It is listed as a Grade I listed building and a Grade I listed park and garden. [1]
