It is widely considered one of the oldest continuously operating hotels in the world, and has also been called the "most beautiful hotel in Europe".

History and building
The hotel opened in 1511. It was designed by Enrique Egas, in the Plateresque style. It is listed as a part of UNESCO World Heritage Site and a bien de interés cultural. [1]
